Accelerated Master's Program
Cornell offers advanced Cornell seniors the opportunity to complete an MPA degree in just one year beyond the Bachelor’s degree.
The curriculum and degree requirements for this program are the same as for the standard two-year MPA degree. Students begin a full load of CIPA studies their senior year, while completing their undergraduate major. After receiving their bachelor’s degree, students move directly into the Graduate School where they finish their remaining year of study for the M.P.A..
The application deadline for the Accelerated Master’s Program is the spring semester of an applicant’s junior year. This allows students to complete two semesters of CIPA coursework as undergraduate seniors, participating in the CIPA program as junior fellows, before becoming graduate fellows after graduation.
