Permissions

A. To request permission to reprint materials from Cornell University Press books, be sure you include the following information in your request:

  • Our book title, author or editor, page numbers, and, if applicable, figure or illustration numbers
  • Title of your book, your author or editor, your publisher name, expected month/year of publication, distribution (e.g. U.S only, world), number of copies to be printed, and estimated list price

B. To request permission to photocopy material from Cornell University Press books in coursepacks, be sure to include the following information in your request:

  • Our book title, author or editor, page numbers, and, if applicable, figure or illustration numbers
  • Number of copies needed, educational institution name, instructor name, course title, and semester.
